Energy and petrochemical programmes are large, interdependent and unforgiving of weak links. The civil and structural infrastructure — process, marine and onshore — has to carry the plant above it through decades of demanding service.
On the Aramco $12B programme that meant heavy civils and large-span industrial works, a verified 3,700m conveyor and molten-sulphur pipeline, and over $15M of savings found through alternative methods — alongside FGD power work for the Alstom and AMEC consortium and cooling-water initiatives for RWE nPower.
