Structural work is judged by one test: does it stand up under everything the real world throws at it, including the loads nobody planned for. That means design, analysis and honest assessment — to Eurocodes, BS, AISC, ACI, ASTM and AASHTO — with the margins where they belong.
Across twenty-five years that has spanned reinforced concrete and steelwork, heavy civils and large-span industrial structures — including coke storage at roughly 420m by 89m clear span and sulphur storage at 71m — and the safety-case standard that nuclear and defence demand.
